Back to Tutorials Gallery Ok all you need to start is a new canvas as wide as you want your bar. and atleast as tall. i just go with 800x600 because you can always trim it down. Also you should have 2 empty layers. Step 1: Draw a navigation bar rectangle across the entire canvas. Fill this with a gradient Foreground #444444, Background #222222 Step 2: Remove the bottom half of the selection, select the layer that is unused, and fill this rectangle with white. set layer opacity to 10-15% Step 3: Apply the following Blending Options to the navbar layer *not the top white layer. Step 4: actually I think that's it.. Although I think i had some steps inside of other steps. but yea thats quick glass :) you should have something like so.
